Workshops for 2017

A series of 2½ hour workshops offered to explore various aspects of Yoga. This is an opportunity to deepen your connection with your yoga practice. A take home practice will be offered to allow continued exploration of the theme.

 

‘The Breath’
Saturday 18th March
10am till 12.30pm
‘An opportunity to explore and connect with the power of your breath through asana (posture), pranayama (breathing practices), meditation and Yoga Nidra.’

 

‘Nada Yoga’
Saturday 17th June
10am till 12.30pm
‘An introduction to the exploration of Nada Yoga (yoga of sound) through asana, pranayama, chanting, meditation and Yoga Nidra with gongs. This workshop will explore Nada Yoga through simple sound based practices that encourage peace and stillness’

 

‘Mudras’
Saturday 30th September
10am till 12.30pm
‘An introduction to mudras using asana, pranayama and meditation. Mudras are hand gestures and body postures used to create energetic circuits within your physical and energetic systems, to allow changes to mood, perception and deeper concentration and awareness. The workshop will finish with Yoga Nidra to allow the mornings experiences an opportunity to fully integrate’

 

‘Creating Stillness’
Saturday 25th November
10am till 12.30pm
‘An opportunity to connect with the inner stillness created through Yoga. Practices that encourage inner stillness will be explored through asana, pranayama, meditation and Yoga Nidra.’
